Save the Dates 2

Hello everyone,
    I hope everyone has gotten the save the dates we sent out, and if so you have probably seen the link to our blog, which has led you here!  Just to clear things up, we are getting married in Little Falls Ny at Beardslee Castle on May 10, 2014 (so not far off!!!)  We have put places where you can find directions to the Castle, and hotels/motels for those traveling from far distance.  Also when we finally settle where the ceremony is going to take place, we shall have directions set up to that one as well!  And don't worry these directions will be included in the invitations, which will follow the save the dates in a few months.  That's it for now, everyone have a Merry Christmas!

Save the Date

Hello everyone,
    I know we have not been on that often, keeping you updated on our wedding progress, but rest assured the wedding planning is going along nicely.  We have ordered the bridesmaid's dresses, looked into bakery's for the cake, and last but not least ordered save the dates!
Now Alex and I decided to go with save the date magnets.  We got this idea from our friends Ruth and Josh.  It makes it easy to remember because you can stick it right to your fridge or anywhere a magnet can attach too. Here are some sites that can help you make your own save the Dates;

Also we had engagement photo's done by JCpenney Portraits studio.  Which can be a good idea if you want the pictures on your save the dates to look very nice.  But I am sure if you have any friends good with a camera and photoshop it would work the same.    I know I have not posted in a while.  In all honesty I forgot all about this blog because I got a new job and summer is always busy for me.  I am sorry for the lack of posts but I have good news!
 
            First, we broke the 1000 view mark!!! Thank you all for viewing our blog!  It means alot to us to share our news of our wedding as well as help other couples to save and still have the best wedding that you have dreamed of!
          Second and last, we just put a down payment on our venue!!! We are so excited! April showers bring Bridal shows!

Hello everyone,
There are two bridal shows coming up and if you are planning a wedding you definitely need to get yourself to one of them! They can help create idea and sometimes you can get great deals from the vendors.  Also you get to feel like a princess, taste really good food, and have fun! One is a bridal show in syracuse, NY. The other is a Bridal University in Oneonta Ny. Technically, both are the same day, April 7th, but there are two sessions of the university, the 7th and the 14th. Also, the University is offering discounts and gift certificates when u graduate that are redeemable to vendors in the area.

Unfortunatley, Alex can only make it to the Bridal show, not the university. He has work and is unsure if he can get the time off for that day, the 14th.  But heres hoping :D Hope to see you all there and have fun planning your wedding ladies!

   Sorry it has been a while since our last post been a busy holiday season!  But congrats to everyone that tied the knot or got engaged this holiday season!  I am excited that its 2013 because that means Alex and I are one year closer to our wedding!!!
